Enter your FPL team ID and we will score your squad out of 100 across six dimensions, then show you exactly which changes would raise it.
Your team ID is the number in the URL when you view your FPL points page: fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/809934/event/1. We only read what FPL already publishes β we never ask for your login.
Your squad is scored out of 100 across six weighted dimensions and given a letter grade from S down to F. Every number comes from the official Fantasy Premier League API for 2026/27, including the Opta expected-goals data it now publishes. No login is needed and nothing is stored.
Every player is ranked against others in the same position β a midfielder against midfielders, never against forwards. The inputs are expected goal involvements per 90 minutes, points per game, bonus points per 90, ICT index per 90 and the share of available minutes actually played. Goalkeepers and defenders are judged on expected goals conceded and saves instead of attacking returns, because that is where their points come from. Your starting eleven counts fully, the bench at 30%, and your captain at 150%.
The next six gameweeks, with the nearest weighted twice as heavily as the furthest. FPL's own difficulty rating is the baseline, adjusted by how many goals each opponent is actually expected to concede β so a nominally hard fixture against a leaky defence rates better than the raw number suggests. Double gameweeks add value; blanks are penalised and flagged.
Four equal parts: how many of the eight legal formations your 15 can field, whether each player is good value against others at the same price, how much genuine cover your bench provides, and whether you have more than one realistic captain.
The mix of template players owned by over 25% of managers, mid-owned players, and differentials under 5%. Both extremes are marked down: an all-template squad tracks the average but cannot climb, and an all-differential squad falls behind every time a popular player hauls.
How easily you can change things. Money in the bank, the number of injured or flagged players you are carrying, and which chips you still have available.
Recent scoring against each player's own season average, so a squad full of players trending upwards rates above one relying on early-season returns. Unavailable until gameweeks have been played.
Log in to the official Fantasy Premier League site and open the Points or Gameweek History tab. The URL will read fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/809934/event/1 β the number after /entry/ is your team ID. It never changes during a season, though FPL issues a new ID to every manager each summer, so last season's number will not work.
No, and we will never ask for one. The rating uses only the endpoints Fantasy Premier League already publishes for every team ID. Anything private β your draft squad before the first deadline, for example β requires your own login cookie, which we do not request and could not use.
Six weighted dimensions. Player quality is 40% and ranks every player against others in the same position on expected goal involvements per 90, points per game, bonus points, ICT index and minutes played. Fixture outlook is 20% and looks six gameweeks ahead. Squad structure is 15%, covering formation flexibility, price efficiency, bench strength and captain options. Ownership balance is 10%, transfer flexibility 10% and form momentum 5%.
Most well-built squads score between 60 and 80. Anything above 80 is a strong squad by every measure we track, and above 90 is exceptional. A score below 50 usually means one dimension has gone badly wrong β most often a squad that is entirely template or entirely differential, or one carrying several injured players.
FPL resets every player's form to zero between seasons, so before a ball is kicked there is nothing to measure. Rather than invent a number, we mark the dimension unavailable and share its 5% weight across the other five, so it neither helps nor hurts your score until the season is under way.
Not by team ID. Fantasy Premier League keeps every squad private until the first deadline passes, so no team in the game can be read by ID until then. You can still pick your 15 in our Squad Builder and rate that immediately β the same six dimensions apply, minus the bank and chip data that only a team ID provides.
No. It assesses the squad you have against the data available now β last season's underlying numbers, current prices, ownership and upcoming fixture difficulty. Football is far too noisy for a points forecast to be honest at this level, so we do not offer one.
